The Center of God's Will
You may have received an email that occasionally circulates around about the center of the Bible. I've come across it a few times, and when I saw it again recently I thought it would be fitting to share as the New Year approaches.
It is at the very least some interesting Bible trivia, though it is certainly more than that. And although I do not believe it is some special Bible code, there's no question it offers a simple, yet profound truth, reminding us of God's will in the most basic of terms. As 2013 approaches, with all of its uncertainties, it serves as a good reminder of where were are to place our confidence in trying times.

What's the central message of this verse for those of us who want to live in the "center of God's will"?
Psalm 118:8 says: "It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man."
May the Lord truly be your place of refuge in the year ahead. May He bless you, and keep you, and make His face shine upon you. May He be gracious to you, and give you His peace.
I am praying for you, as I hope you are for me, and I look forward to what He has in store for us in the year ahead as we serve Him together. I look forward to seeing you Sunday.
